As the nation celebrates the Platinum Jubilee, we thought we’d remind you about some of our traditional products, perfect for a nostalgic street party style menu!

If you’re “of a certain age”, you may remember the 70’s style street parties that took place to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee. In our minds it was definitely sunny, with plates of sandwiches, sausage rolls, cheese and pineapple and slices of quiche, all washed down with coca cola. The sepia memories of bunting, party food and smiles are planted in our memories.

Fast forward to the Platinum Jubilee weekend in June 2022 and while we’re all hoping for warm, sunny weather, we’re also hoping for lots of dining out and quality food!

At Midland Chilled Foods we thought it would be a great opportunity to showcase some of our traditional products and more contemporary ones too, all in a Jubilee style.
