Eat well. Eat Unconventional. Eat Plant based.

Eat well. Eat Unconventional. Eat Plant based.

There’s no doubt that the continued growth of plant based foods is creating opportunities for retailers and hospitality operators to delight their customers, whether they’re following a plant based diet or looking to reduce their red meat consumption. To help customers maximise the growth in this sector, the Unconventional Plant Based range will be challenging tastebuds at IFE 2022 from 21-23 March at Exel.

Craig Ward, Commercial Director, said, “The feedback on the launch of our Unconventional Burger has been incredible, and we were hugely proud when it was nominated by the consumers from, as the best plant based burger in Europe. Since then, our NPD team has created a mini version of the Unconventional Burger, perfect for events, buffets, and sharing plates. We’ll be launching this at the show together with the Unconventional Tomato Burger”.

But, the demand for plant based foods is broader than just burgers, which is why Unconventional will be revealing their new Chickenless Fillets in two formats, a deliciously moist plain fillet and a lightly crumbed breaded option.

Craig went on to add, “We’re looking forward to showcasing our new products on stand 1465. We believe that everyone should eat well and eat plant based. Let’s just say the food development team are keen that we showcase the products to match the name. In a truly Unconventional way!”.

The Unconventional range is available directly from Midland Chilled Foods.
