National Account Executive – Granarolo UK
We’re recruiting a National Account Executive to join our team in Willenhall, West Midlands. Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful applicant will be primarily office based and will hold the key responsibilities outlined below.
As a National Account Executive – you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Marketing
- Analysing sales data, communicating with buyers, category marketing and supply chain
- Ensure implementation of marketing plan through above the line, promotions and relevant post activity analysis
- Competitor analysis through store visits, and market insights on market pricing etc with focus on Italian categories
- Support work with Nielson and Dunn Humby Data
- Create weekly, monthly marketing packs for Key customers with competitor and market information to help buyers make category decisions
- Utilise data to help Granarolo with product amends and changes, at quarterly reviews
Commercial & NPD
- Ability to support customer actions following external meetings, be it data, samples or further information supported by Granarolo Italy Marketing team
- Support key customer NPD trackers with product data and commercials to support the pipeline of innovation at key customer sites
- Skills will focus on attention to detail, discipline and adherence to deadlines
- Oversee marketing opportunities and manage the groups’ presence on social media
- Any other admin requirements as and when instructed
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills to analyse sales data and customer behaviours
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of finance to support the finance department with administrative tasks, if required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in sales or sales support is preferred
- Role is mainly site based due to nature of the work involved.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Teams and Powerpoint
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Good organisational skills and excellent timekeeping
- Full UK driving licence
